买回一个相机3个镜头。开始计划旅行。

 

 

80多份简历，7次纽约，2次波士顿，1次斯丹福，1次新奥尔良。

许多次的电话面试，笔试，排队职拼会面试，轮流车轮阵面试。

收到许多的拒绝信，和没收到的更多的拒绝信。

那么还是可以找到一个工作的。

终于。 :)

。。。波士顿。。。

时节已晚，没有满树的金黄，只枝头稀稀落落的一些若即若离，和地上一团团最后的飞舞。

天气是爽朗，蓝蓝的天衬着哈夫校园红色的楼墙。

想起红色的，还有波士顿的龙虾。 来到去年吃过的那一摊，美美的吃了一顿。

波士顿的会展中心，是每年职拼会的地方。

这是一年一度的日英双语职拼会。

大部分是在美国的日本学生，但也遇到了来自英国纯正伦敦音的帅小伙Leo 和从法国过来带法国音的一个漂亮姑娘。

大家交流着找工作的经验和艰辛， 在一个个公司前面排起队。

比起广州招聘会人山人海排2个小时队交个简历的学生，这里的学生要幸运的多。

五点二十才起，晚了。 直接导致提着皮带领带夹着文件夹跑着去赶机场巴士。

然后发现忙乱的袜子拿了双带小花点儿不纯黑一直舍不得穿的那双。

终于还是在车开前上了车，飞机飞前上了机。

然后一路睡，脑子里想着那个偏分方程怎么解啊。

到纽约了瓜迪亚机场等车去斯丹福。

到斯丹福还早。于是溜达大街一圈，麦当劳一套，咖啡一杯。

图书馆找了统计计算机两本书复习，结果书当枕头趴着困了一个钟点。

结果一个半小时笔试。4页差不多20到题。 那个方恨少啊。 还有那个射雕英雄传里那个过目不忘的叫谁谁来着。

统计，数值分析，偏分方程，随机方程，编程，什么题都有。

怎么说也是努力写了4页纸，里面总也有答对的地方吧。

然后开始面试。 3轮。

被问到热学方程，怎么解。 被问到 singleton。 我得回答基本就是 “我得座右铭是方恨少。”

两批15个学生。 MIT 大概 5，6 个。 NYU 3，4 个。 哥伦比亚 2，3 个。 剩下有CMU 一哥一姐，还有我。

说录取3个。那么 20% 概率，如果随机的话。

也许在我把那个 exponential distribution 的 均值都算错的时候，这概率落到我身上就剩 2% 了。

那么。7点面完。9点了瓜迪亚飞机晚点。11点半到皮子包。12点半到家。

算是没有功劳也有苦劳，这面试。

上帝啊，门关上了这许多，开窗， 开窗 please.......

A hair cut by a black man who's having a hairstyle that i never would never have. He shared with me his story. Started as a hair dresser at the age of 12, and started doing this professionaly at age of 17, now he is 34. 

"how do you want to do it?"

"i'm going for interviews tomorrow, i need an interview hair style." 

"ok, so it's the conservative style"

"yes, conservative please, but seems i need to be aggressive to get a job. it's a tough market".

"You have to take all the tough before you enjoy the easy"... and here starts his Motto... "I used to stay very far away and took me 2 hours every day to come here to work, 6 days a week, for 2 years.  and guess what, now i have an apartment just 20 mins walk away". "so you know, you have to take all the tough, otherwise when the easy comes, you don't know what's easy and easy is going to be tough"...

His name is Coffin.

There is a black man on the subway,  he is wearing a black t-shirt, with a black leather jacket, a black trousers, black socks and black shoe. It is all so black!

now he is listening to ipod and a white string of ear phone cod runs through him. i want to make a picture, black and white.

met a friend who i havn't seen in years. and seems New York is the place where you can meet everyone?

they've moved house and it is a lovely apartment. so cozy and feels home. And there's the lovely cat who always find my travel bag a good place for treasure hunt game.  So on the way back i was talking with my friend on cab, " here's the plan, i need a job, and then find a good girl, and an apartment,  and raise a cat."  The cab driver immediately objected. "Get a cat first, before a girl, it's easier, cats don't talk back"...
